Rannoch contemplated her words, his expression growing erudite as he mulled them over for a moment. "You know, you might be on to something," He said, turning to her with a growing smile. After all, in his time away from the valley he had run into many vibrant characters along the shoreline, all weird in their all unique way. "I was away from the valley for a while ran into many strange wolves." His eyes sparkled despite the hurt that surrounded his running into said wolves. Without his parents dying, he probably wouldn't have experienced such interactions. 

Not wishing to keep the subject on himself, Rannoch volleyed the topic back to Liffey, curious to know how much she had traveled. "Have you ever left the valley?" After all, she was away from her home, and perhaps this was a normality for the star-dusted female.
