Rannoch smiled at what Titmouse had to say and nodded slowly when the boy expressed his ambition in taking on both tasks. But before they could even begin, there was a question to be answered. "'Spar' is another word for a fight," he said, realizing the importance of his words at that moment. He would have to keep monitoring his vocabulary for the sake of the child to make sure what he was saying was making sense. Without doing this, Rannoch would find a very confused child at his paws, and their lesson would be bogged down by a constant stream of inquiries. 

"Let's start with fighting," the Alpha suggested then with a wag of his tail. "Do you know the purpose of fighting?" He asked then, quirking a brow. Though it was not something he had been taught, Rannoch had learned the lesson down the road and felt it was a good starting point for the both of them.
