He got a nasty gash on his shoulder, Finley suffered scratches, I was hit on the head, but together we managed to kill the beast." She had almost wanted to add - for comical effect - the fact that, whatever noble trouble Terance got into he was bound to get an injury of some sorts, but decided that this did not fit the story this time.
