There were 30 seconds, when Wraen felt almost victorious, because the hare had escaped one wolf, but had run straight in the waiting paws and jaws of the other. Her hunting partner managed to pin the creature down, but it's will to live was stronger. It squeezed through the smallest gap and kicked the predator in the face along the way. 

Well, such an insult to the wolf-kind required that certain measures were taken. She was back in action again, now choosing to run paralell to the hare rather than right after it. When the moment felt right, Wraen made a sharp turn and attempted to cut the hare's path, but once again, it changed the trajectory of it's flight and now was running in Nara's direction again.
