Rannoch was good at keeping secrets and Wraen did not know that Cassiopeia had confessed to him during a private conversation. She just suspected that something did not entirely stick with the story and - the knowledge of the truth would have hardly improved her opinion of the matter. Killed wolves did not sit well with her, even if she realized that these things happened and sometimes there was a good reason for one's life to be ended.

But Wraen was glad that the dark girl had mentioned prey, because hunting was something she could relate to and talk quite a lot. Therefore she pounced at the opportunity to avoid awkward silences or any accusing or prying words escape her lips. After all she trusted Rannoch's judgement and, if he deemed the case closed, who was Wraen to keep mulling on and about it. "In fact, there is. I often hunt in the Southern parts of this valley," she beckoned to the Wapun meadow in the distance. "A lot of small critters live there - plenty for one day's keep. And now and then I have wandered North as well. A friend of mine there showed, where wild turkey live," she gestured in the opposite side, though there was not much to see of it with all the rocks and hills aroun.

"If you wish, we can go and explore a bit ther - might find something useful," she said.
