A fierce confederation of hunters and spiritualists who eke out an existence in the frozen mountains. They are highly resilient, territorial and in favor keeping to themselves. There are no leaders, instead aggregations of solo wolves and families who share a sense of political and spiritual cohesion. They are semi-nomadic, living on the mountain during winter and moving into the Northwood for the warmer summer season. Winsook sustains a general belief that power, both benevolent and malignant, resides in natural phenomena such as the sun, moon, thunder, clouds, stars and wind.
A soaring quartz mountain with steep trails, peppered with persistent evergreens and kissed by glacial ice. Snowmelt pours down the western face, resulting in a spectacular cascade that disappears into the tall, forested foothills. The mountain is precarious with many sheer drops and supports high wildlife diversity such as bears, bobcats, foxes, and owls who shelter within the spires.
The land is rugged, guarded by ancient stones and old pines. High ridges provide a lookout for unseen eyes, and the forbidding terrain of certain faces may prove impassable by those who seek to assail.

This pack is territorial, and while an attack may not be the initial reaction of a wolf from Winsook, trespassers will sustain at least one injury if they cross the borders uninvited.
