a wolverine had prowled the stream, and selenia liked to think that colosseum's presence had deterred the glutton from trying more. still, she was displeased to see the spoor, ears splayed as she sidestepped the scat and flicked her tail in annoyance.

selenia nudged the frozen turds in disgust, but they seemed hours old. hopefully the creature would not be back, though she was irked enough now to chase a wolverine.
