He was quick to nod in agreement, despite what he assumed Pepper was implying. "I'm willing to go back with you." He smiled. It was odd to make decisions without much consideration - however Phobos saw it necessary in such a situation.

In the back of his head he was already beginning a new list of things to do - much less strenuous tasks at that. While it was not something he liked to think about, this could be beneficial for his health.

"Yeah? Good. Was hopin' you'd do that."

The large wolf's tail would indicate his excitement. He was already thinking about the pair tightly curled in the den's walls. He was excited to wake up, scared to stir another from rest.

He gave another nod, licking Pepper's muzzle before pushing his thin legs to a stand. "Let's get going then, hm?" He insisted, nodding towards the way Pepper had come from.

"The sooner we get there the sooner we can rest."

”Yeah, rest,” he said, giving Phobos a yellowed grin.

He licked the wolf across the muzzle once more, then stood, shaking his coat out and stretching his (extremely sore from the earlier fight) legs out behind him. He winced, his breath momentarily catching in his chest, before he pulled himself back together.

”Walk ain’t too far from here. Guessin’ we’ll get there before sun’s gone.”

Noticing the wince he chose not to say anything, but decided that he would search for something to help Pepper later. He had not yet forgotten their first discussion, Pepper confiding in him about the pains he often experienced.

"I'll follow your lead then." He responded with a smile crossing his muzzle, pressing himself into the side of the other.

Hearing the wolf was ready, Pepper began. It took a moment for his leg to function properly, but after the feeling returned, he was set.

The walk would be easy enough. Just follow the river. He hoped the pack would have no issue taking on Phobos.
