All Welcome
The scent of bear had driven him mad. It had also driven him from the creek. Fevered by anger, Swordfish had followed the bear tracks south until he had reached another world.

When the rains had washed away the monster’s tracks, the broken young man had no choice but to return north. He would not go back to the creek. He had stayed for too long already. Moss was gone. Akavir was too busy with the women who visited him.

Swordfish didn’t need them.

Upon the sand dunes, the hunter looked over his shoulder and diverted his path. Northwest instead of a straight shot north. He thought of the sea and his chest ached.

Fiona parted ways with Prowler for a time, letting the small bandit know she would return at a later date. She wished to trek into the strange lands to the southeast, where there were few hiding spots for her familiar. Do not wander far, she had instructed the raccoon days ago.

Now, she was in a land unlike anything she had ever seen. The world was barren, dry, and devoid of green. Sand covered the earth, but no ocean was in sight. There were only rolling dunes that swept sand into her eyes when wind blew across them. She did not like this place, but as she turned back north, she spotted a lone figure atop the next hill. They were large and bore a grey coat with a bright red tail.

Thought you might've been my eyes playing tricks on me, she said once she confirmed the other was really there.
