fire burns instead, she tosses and turns in the pelt bed, snarling at those who come close.
call for samirseti she demanded through teeth and hoarse voice. to who she said it to? hell if she knew.

samirseti steps through the threshold, the scent hitting him like the sun at its zenith—thick, heady, unmistakable. his breath deepens and the fire licks at his restraint.
she writhes within the pelts, restless, burning. a queen caught in her own storm. he watches, eyes molten gold, the hint of a smirk curling at the edge of his lips.
my beautiful queen has flowered, he murmurs, stepping closer, voice a silken purr. he lowers himself beside her, the space between them thin as a whisper.
