Atka sighed, taking a moment to think over his words. She couldn't imagine being told Dreven was just dead, not killed, not sick, just dead. She pulled away from his wounds, looking over her treatment in satisfaction. The pain was probably still blinding, and would probably get worse before it got better, but these injuries would not take his life.

❝I'm sorry.❞ Her voice was gentle, staring at him with a softened expression.
