Ouroboros Spine Living like a low life

a promise was something that shikoba would be keen on keeping with her husband. the inner turmoil that the woman once felt seems to dissipate with ease the more she allows herself to embrace inutsuk. 

often it could be described as being lost at sea. shikoba felt isolated in many ways despite having the village standing behind her. and although her son and husband are home, she still feels as if her body floats on the raft that has kept her from the deep waters. perhaps it is an act for her own safety, to not truly indulge in the feelings of comfort and content. she is still vigilant, waiting for the moment when the weather could turn.

but for now, shikoba will appreciate the quiet and calm waters. it may take time for her to leave her concerns at the shore, but with time, all things may heal.

"come, rest." a gentle voice guides him back home where they may both rest together as they once did before.
