Unfortunately for the both of them, however, Kovette was... less than knowledgeable when it came to treating, well, anything. But she was not without kindness, although she knew not how far that might get either of them in this situation.

“Do you know of anyone that might be able to help... fix it?” she asked, taking a couple steps closer as she did so. “Do you think you would be able to stand if I help you up?” Should she help her stand, or would that do more damage? Kovette could not recall a time where she’d done anything similar, so she wasn’t entirely sure what all could be done. Would it make things worse if the stranger was moved at all? What would be worse for her in the long run, moving when she shouldn’t or remaining in the water?

“Are you... are you okay with me helping you out of the water?” At the very least, she could do that, even if she had to yank her out. Plus, no matter if moving or staying in the water was the worse option, Kovette was pretty sure that allowing both was definitely not alright to do.
