Dusty Rose threw threats and provocations after him, but Tybault didn't spare him a second glance. He'd clearly made his point, whatever the coywolf might say. In his mind the matter was settled: the little shithead would stay away from Reverie, Tybault would stay away from him, everyone would win. Simple enough, right?

And he did leave feeling pretty proud of himself. Tybault, after all, had no way of knowing just how futile his efforts really were. He wouldn't find out for several more weeks.
