Moonspear turn the page

Arrluk listened and fell to silence. He was patient and mindful. Rushing would only end in failure and Arrluk had no intention of failing. 

Arrluk did not move into Alaric was in position, for a fear that he might step on a twig of the winds might turn and bring his scent to his prey. It would have saved time, but Arrluk didn't want to spook the deer and have the herd on the run before Alaric was ready. 

Now, the yearling moves, keeping himself as low and slow as possible. His coat of black and white did not help him on these instances and further required time and effort. Eventually, Arrluk was close enough to be spotted and the run began sooner then later. By the time Arrluk was near to his target, the rest of the herd had already sprinted ahead, gradually separating the older members. 

Arrluk sought out the elder doe and when he neared in his chase, snagged again and again at the scarred limb. They made way directly to Alaric's path.
