The mention of deer caused Rannoch to draw his tongue over his chops as if momentarily fantasising about the taste of freshly slain meat. It has been long since he had eaten such a delicacy and hoped that with Tryp and the rest of the pack's help, that they could soon conquer a deer together. He was all too involved in these thoughts that he became somewhat idle, only to fully resurface when his cousin was mentioned. 

"Yeah, he's my brother," he offered with a wave of his tail. He was not aware of the connection that the stranger had with his jade-eyed sibling, but, he was now curious. "How do you know him?" His head tilted at this moment and his brows lifted as his gaze turned inquisitive.
a crime so old as the sky and bone
he came untied, solid as a stone
all is almost lost and it starts to show
