she lay breathless, yet her lungs filled with joy. what a wild and freeing thing it was to run! and to run with someone else, to play, oh what a beautiful thing they shared. 

her weight shifted at the question, a toothy grin emerging as her lips parted to answer, "am velia." her eyes wandered over her companion's face for a moment, admiring the woman's more mature features, her elegance. would she too grow to look like that some day?

"and you?" she asked in between a breath, eager to know the name of the woman she had shared such a lovely time with.
