Brynhildr could not take being continuously cooped up within the borders of Stavanger Bay; finding it to be ...boring. Aside from antagonizing Thistle, her supposed father's widow — though Brynhildr felt doubts that the Ragnar Thistle spoke of and the man that had sired her were two different men — without her brothers to speak with she felt the pressing restlessness like a weight upon her chest. Even Unnr had allowed her to get out, albeit it was not without the escort of one of her brothers. Thistle could not hold Brynhildr the same way the valkyrja's mother could and with no sign of her brothers in weeks Brynhildr did not wait for an escort, nor did she require one. She was able to handle herself well enough and out from under Unnr's strict rules and keen eye that was never strayed too far from her queen daughter, Brynhildr felt free; and she desired to utilize her new freedom to learn what she had always wanted to. Ragnar's death meant to the young queen that there was no one there to teach her how to be a shieldmaiden, though her brothers could certainly do it they too were absent though likely they'd been delayed by their conquests.  Brynhildr couldn't help but feel slighted by this, angry that they'd left her out but she could not fault them for it. Unnr had made it clear she was to be protected not allowed to romp around and be a true Viking in all it was worth. Unnr had wanted a Queen for a daughter, not a shieldmaiden; and so Brynhildr had given her what she had wanted.

Except: she wasn't a Queen. She wasn't even a Princess in these Wilds. The legend of her father held no bearing here, she assumed. A soft snort of contempt left the valkyrja as the tall, sylphlike woman moved easily through the trees of Neverwinter Forest her destination unknown in the early cusp of the warm morning — so long as it carried her far away from Stavanger Bay for the day.

The man walked through the new land of Neverwinter forest with a purpose. Well some sort of purpose. He seeked mountains, because that's all he could remember. And he yearned for someone to tell him. Explain the scratched tracks of his past. And the mountains was his only hope to discover that.

When he arrived to the teekon Wilds, he had hoped to see rocky slopes awating him. But to his dismay, there was only flatlands and forest. However there was no turning back now. He was determined to find some moutains. He quietly paced through the forest, slowly and calmly. His eyes flickered around, spotting a white coat in the distance. Being the polite guy he was, he decided to introduce himself, walking towards the lady. "Hello there," he said in a welcoming tone.

Hackles of platinum silver bristled sharply when a voice, unfamiliar in it's masculine tenor reached out in the space between them and graced her ears which had perked forward and then slicked back upon the valkyrja queen's skull. Hastily she turned so she faced the other, dappled in light silvers with dusting of darker colors, not quite unlike herself. Toes of dark gray dug into the pliable earth beneath her paws, a look of warning sent the male's way. After her altercation with the Jarl's greedy and self-entitled sons the Queen was wary of the opposite sex, though fully prepared to do what she needed to protect herself. She was not above maiming and certainly not above killing, if it came to it. She was no shield-maiden, it was true, for such a thing appalled her mother despite that even Frejya herself had been a warrior queen. The goddess of fertility, however, had not, and it was her beauty that Brynhildr had been likened to by many interested suitors, half of which had been over half her age. The beauty of a queen not intended to be a warrior. The stranger's greeting seemed friendly enough to Brynhildr and after a few seconds, when it did not become apparent his intentions were ill, the valkyrja relaxed her stance though it was only a slight and subtle movement.

“Hello,” She returned simply, studying him with mutely, observing and assessing him for a few moments. After her returned greeting the young queen fell to silence, figuring if he looked to further the conversation then he could take the initiative.

Replying from my phone. Hope it's not too bad XD

At first, the female didn't seem to happy to see him. Her ears pulled back over her skull in a protective sort of manner. He didn't exactly know why though.

But her form seemed to change as he introduced himself. Her answer was simple. He didn't mind that. "What are you doing out here? You don't smell like you are around here." She might take that as a threat, though he wouldn't know that. How could he know what was going through the female's mind? "The name's Inari."
