For @Anatha.
Though he had no intentions of returning to this worn mountain once they left, Corvus figured he may as well familiarize himself with the area while he was here. After a while of this, he saw a lithe red figure in the distance. Small and feminine, it was unmistakably the skittish female he'd caught only sparing glances of. It appeared that she had been actively avoiding him, which was not surprising, given her shy and fearful nature and his own off-putting one. But avoiding a packmate was foolish, and while she was relatively out of the way to approach, Corvus figured he may as well swing by to see how an interaction went. Even if it went poorly (which he expected), it'd at least be entertaining for the bastard.
He offered a low chuff when he approached the woman, but no words. If he had desired her to lose fear of him, Corvus knew he'd have to speak, but he felt no burning need for her to be comfortable around him. It was primarily curiosity that drew the monster to her, so now he would wait in silence to have it satiated.
I cannot be killed by dogs. It takes a man to kill a monster.
