After her commands, her own voice had risen with the others' and subsequently died away as they all dispersed. Kapvik did as she had said and she did not leave the task alone to him, picking up another carcass or two and tossing them aside into a pile that she would take care of soon. It was the polar bear that took the frosty wolf's scruff in her mouth and dragged him to where they would start the bone pile once more. As his was the first life lost to the Spire, it was only fitting that he be the foundation of their pile. After this, she would return and grab the coyote bodies and litter the borders with their remains, her gold eyes cold and unfeeling as she tried not to think.
