Moonspear come out of the darkness

Lex’s tail sweeps back and forth behind him a few times and shifts his weight to something more comfortable.  He had no reason to feel a threat from his alpha.  If he trusted Amekaze, he could trust Charon.  Trusting her meant trusting her decisions and Charon was a decision.  His background is vague but neither of them opened up their heartfelt stories of loss and heartbreak and, well, whatever else.  It wasn’t important.

“I have not,” he says, turning his head to follow the younger male’s gaze up the mountain.  He hadn’t seen the ocean since he’d gotten to the area but he was closer to salty air and that was okay for him, for now. “But I would like to.”

The white male shuffles a little, hoping the question would lead to an invitation.  His cheeks flush with warmth beneath his fur as he tries to hide his assumption.  He probably had more important things to do than to show Lex around a territory he was supposed to be putting on a map in his mind.
