[size=medium]His response was almost immediate, and she changed her course slightly to head to him, her pace quickening to a trot. It only took her a few moments to reach him, her neck extending before her so that she could nudge his chin. He said there were markings close by, and it made her instantly on alert. If they were markings of a boundary, then they were a little close for her own comfort. She moved to get a little closer to them, but made sure some part of her own body touched his.

"There's a pack here," she said softly. "We're a little close..." she said, trailing off. Her eyes looked around for a few moments to make sure no wolves were coming. When she was satisfied, she turned back towards her brother, "Any interest in exploring some other woods?" It could be that he had been over here on purpose, though she wasn't sure. She wondered if he might have been seeking information on the pack- for the purpose of joining. She didn't ask, though. Not yet, anyways.
