"Mm," she hummed through her own squirrel, holding it by tail and watching him with interest. He practically swallowed the meat, which she didn't judge him for, and once again turned to ask question. "Mighty curious," she murmured, extremely clearly for having such a fluffy tail in her jaws. She answered regardless, showing that his nosiness hadn't truly offended her. Not that it had mattered, regardless of her higher rank he was a sort of royalty among the pack. To her the Alpha's would always be the kings and queens of the pack, it was how she was raised and how she learned. They deserved the respect they earned, the only difference here was that there were less rules. 

"I'm headed to the caches," she woofed, confirming his thoughts. She eyed him again curiously, her posture straight and still, only her eyes looking him over. "If you wouldn't mind, I've been craving a bit of friendly conversation," she had already began padding towards the nearest cache, her tail swaying side to side as she went. She turned her head once to make sure he was following, and then let it remain focused forward when he came beside her. 

"How has your day been?" she asked, her eyes turning to watch him. She noticed his gaze already on hers, and held back a smirk. Her gaze fell forward again, a playful smile tugging at the edge of her lips. "Having a nice birthday?"
