Porcupine Ridge Second sight has paid off well

My last post, too! :)

As short-lived as his position as beta had been, there was a certain relief knowing he was no longer a part of their leadership. He had never expected to become a leader and in reality he knew that his personality didn't suit it at all. Even knowing these things, that didn't stop the sting of the challenge, either. Farstep accepted his submission and after a moment shook the tension from the meeting and swept into a playful stance, inviting him (and the others) to engage.

Terich grumbled softly, though it was in jest, as he swept into his own bow. Taggarik bopped his shoulder then, and Terich turned to chase him, teeth bared playfully as he chased his alpha through the snow.
