Burke was annoyed by the fact that this wolf didn't even reply to his question if he was bad at anything. It had gone ignored and instead he talked about what he could learn here. Burke was skeptical once more. He had the feeling enough packs would be willing to take in a young assassin. "What makes you so sure we are the spot to train assassins then." Sure they had some carcasses at their borders but that could also mean they were terribly hostile. Of course they actually did have an assassin training but he was not going to shout it from the rooftops that this particular forest holds the dark brotherhood.

Burke looked at him and then decided to be honest. "Look, kid. You seem to desperately want to prove yourself or want to tell me how good you are yet you come with no proof. I am just not convinced. You're all bark and I seriously doubt you can back it up." Burke looked at him with a more serious expression. He could take this wolf in, let him have the two week trail like others had before him but still Burke didn't want to take in a wolf that had no potential to become a dark brother. He was not surprised. Currently this wolf was just one of many with a good bark.
