Zeke thumped into the tree, stepped back to shake his head clear, then turned to watch Kierkegaard run away. He raised his head and let a triumphant grunt follow the stranger. A warning not to return. Feeling like he'd done his duty, Zeke turned to head back to Silvertip Mountain, hopefully the ghostly wolf wouldn't return.
