If he wished to speak to her, he could speak to her in his mind, in his own time, whether her answers were truth or merely fiction within his head.

Without another word Cicero slipped away, knowing that Potema had made contact with Meldresi and knowing it would not happen again, now. He was not sure if Potema wished to tell him of it, since she said she would tell Damien later, but he would see about it. Time would tell if she would or would not.
