by the time they made it to the ocean he was tired, hungry, and crabby -- and he had a charge to take care of. thankfully, his charge was a fount of eversourced brightness; she did not wane or diminish -- her cheery demeanor kept him going in spite of the cold and hunger that afflicted him.

when he witnessed prialux's adorable reaction to the ocean, even his sores were balmed -- he trotted along besides her gayly, his tail waving behind him. as she gasped he stopped and beheld the view proudly, his chest puffed with slight triumph. "thet there, dear, is the ohshen. no beautifuller thoing there ever wos." he stepped forward again, inhaling the crisp salt of the air as he strode towards the depths.

he wondered if @Doe, @Szymon or @Skellige were about, and sent a tentative howl in their direction as they played on the sand.
