Katya loosened her shoulders and crouched, feeling the supple bones in her neck release tension she hadn't known she was holding. She glanced once at Grayday, an eager expression on his face. Realizing she would choose their target, she scanned the rafter of turkey, completely hidden in the tall grasses she peered out of.

"There," she breathed, following a gliding bird with a slightly faltering wing with her snout. "The tom with the weakened wing. It's male, but injured, it should not be too aggressive. It's big enough to feed both of us."
