The two wolves were a blur of white and browns, tussling over and under each other trying to get the upper hand. It looked like Saucy was winning for a moment, and that’s when she got cocky. Her dumb ego let her guard slip, or more, let Embry slip out of her grasp. She snapped after him trying to regain hold and pin him down, but he rolled over and was somehow able to grab her instead. A ferocious burn kindled inside of her as she realized that she was losing. How could this be possible? Not when she had basically won the fight?!

He had her down, he was fully positioned over her and no amount of struggling would get him off. He was a whale of a wolf after all. Fuck you! she snarled, wriggling her body to try and urge him off. Fine you win mother fucker, she snapped reluctantly, lips still curled. Now let me up before I kick you in the balls, she said, letting out her frustrations verbally rather than physically. And oh boy was she frustrated.
