Sunspire Mountains Meet Cadeau

Cadeau could see there was a thought process going on in the young wolf's head, causing the halfling to stay quiet so she wouldn't disturb whatever Talos was thinking about. Most likely that lost brother of hers. Cadeau felt her heart go out for Talos, even if she knew on a personal level that she'd done the same to her own family. The somber thought made Cadeau frown to herself, wondering if Maela was as sad as Talos was for her sibling. Once the girl spoke up again, seeming to miss the humor in her green food comment, Cadeau chuckled.

"You know, roughage like the green leafy stuff," Cadeau told her, her mind drifting to that odd vegetable the humans use to eat, a tiny tree of some kind. "I'd hope I would not eat moldy green meat, my mama taught me what was good and bad to eat like yours probably does. Moms." Affectionately she rolled her eyes, shifting her weight.

She gave a smile, feeling strangely at ease. "Least you know what's safe to eat. You don't touch the yellow snow too, right?"
