Yes... this would be good for her too. Maybe here she could find refugee if needed be if she proved to be more useful alive - maybe they would come to her rescue if she screamed at any predators trying to take a bite out of her. It would take time to earn mutual trust, even then it would be only circumstantial coming from the witch as she was a fickle creature.
