It had been awhile since her last trip to the large lake, but she was bound and determined to visit it again. The last time she'd gone had been a time of learning, and while she loved hearing of interesting things, she'd secretly wished to explore the lake since then. The beauty it had held with the thin layer of ice coating it's surface had been quite a treat to the eyes the last time she'd come, and upon reaching it once more she was glad to be welcomed by the sight once again. This time, however, she found it to be even more amazing, as she often did when seeing things at night. The surrounding darkness seemed to come alive with bits of light as the moon's glow reflected from the frozen water, and the silence the night always held made it all the better. It was almost as if the obsidian woman was in her own, personal realm, as the sight before her seemed to match the image she'd unconsciously wished for since deciding to visit the lake again.

“A wonderful sight,” Sen murmured, her voice low so as not to interrupt her beloved quietness. “If ever asked why I love the night so much, perhaps I will tell them of this.” Her voice slowly faded away as she went back to quietly admiring the natural work done by the world, but a thought still lingered and nagged at her. It had formed at the mention of her explaining the sight to another, since she knew no words could truly describe the sight she was experiencing. Secretly, she wished to share it with another, but neither of the two who had offered to travel with her before where with her, as she had informed neither to the fact that she wished to go off journeying. The small, good half of her conscious felt sorry for having not inviting either along to witness the beauty of the night, but the larger half did not care as much.
