Still, he had not found what the handsome male wanted most. He was beginning to think that he would never find his brother, if Jupiter didn't wish it, there was no chance of reunion. The gods did not seem on his side, and he wondered angrily why. With an angry snarl, he reared up on his hind legs and swiped a massive paw at an unfortunate raven, perching in the branch above him. With a startled screech, it winged through the snow laden branches, leaving Luc staring numbly after it. It was pointless, his anger, it would get him now where.
But a sacrifice to Jupiter, perhaps...
A small grin slowly spread across the male face. Now, he must only find the best sacrifice. It would have to be good prey, sizable and juicy. Only the best for the almighty god. Perhaps, Jupiter would show more favor, the brute thought as he stalked through the woods. He would please the gods.
A snapping caused him to whirl, not to far from him was a black female, bloodied from a kill that lay at her feet. As he watched she twisted around, looking behind her, where from his position, Luc could see a large raven. At her angry words, it took flight, letting out an angry caw that was quickly answered by another, deeper caw.
Lucian strolled calmly toward the female, who was now facing away from him. How convenient. "Greetings." No smile crossed his face, his expression was devoid of emotion, as was his voice. He showed a stiff respect to those not of his pack or blood, and this one was no different. His electric blue eyes bore through her as the scent of pack became evident.
The land here was packed thick with wolves, and the scents of yet another pack came as no surprise to battle hardened roman.
