Here, now, everything was deeply green to the point of blackness; there was snow aplenty, trying its best to cover every inch of the forest floor or cake the branches of the pines to the point of bowing. Two-toned everywhere. Where the sun could creep in, there was a dangerous shine to the snow.
The man had learned upon entering to avoid the sunny patches and keep himself aware of the transition of the sun in the sky. It wasn't his forte, being mindful like this, but it would save his ankles in the long run. He'd already found that the sunny patches were where the ice was most prevalent.
This was a tricky place. He had come to get out of the snow, yet found more and more, to the point that some paths had been hidden entirely from him, or the ice had become so packed he could not bring his broad body through.
He thought to turn around, this man, but when he did he saw only more of the same: black pine, white snow, shimmering ice and the aureate glow of a winking winter sun.

The great pine trees were like a roof of darkness above, sheltering the ground underneath and spreading across the sky like dangerous claws, ripping, tearing the sky. Nightmares had emerged within these pines, nightmares one couldn't awaken or flee from.
Bright blue eyes were moving through the pines, made no effort in hiding themselves and when they were laid upon another individual in the woods, they circled. A gigantic wolf of grey tones was circling the other smaller wolf and upon watching this individual it was obvious it was lost.
The grey toned creature in the pines began a chuckle, louder, into a laugh and soon its maws spread far and it circled closer as it laughed a hysterical laugh. "Itty bitty wolf is lost." The wolf known as Krauss had stopped his hysterical laughter, to warn the other, for it was dangerous to get lost within these pines were claws and teeth could tear into the individual's dreams and hopes of escape.
"Does it want help perhaps?" Kraus was smiling widely, white teeth glittering in a burst of sun that pushed through the pines, but only for a moment before he had moved to come closer to the lost little lamb. Poor lost soul needed help, poor lost soul needed to leave. For it had treated upon dangerous territory. Krauss moved closer, leaving nothing but inches between them.
Silence - the quiet he let settle between them was a storm brewing within as his bright blue eyes fixated on him. Dangerous individuals traveled in these parts. Danger was always lurking beneath. Like madness it was a dying breed, but willing to survive in the right direction. Unfavourably for this one he had run into madness.
Krauss attacked. Snapped his fangs together to hit the other's snout and make it bleed, just a tiny bit before he would laugh again. Loudly, hysterically and like nothing was out of his grasp.
Let the madness begin.

Hi! Um, I'm not including much about the random attack, as the way it is worded makes it power-play and that's not really cool.
Before long, someone came traipsing through the woodland. It was a darkly coated stranger that held some promise for Experience, until he caught their scent beyond the frost, and learned that they were not a woman to be courted — but a man, and an untethered one at that. They smelled more of wilderness than anything else, hinting towards a life on the road.
Secondly, Experience noticed the way that they spoke. It was with a childish affect. Untethered was one thought, unhinged another; they spoke to him quite rudely, as if Experience were a thing and not a person at all!
I beg your pardon? He huffed. His expression shifted from airheaded to starkly offended, before relaxing somewhere in between.
The happy flouncing of his body had come to an end as he watched the stranger, up until they lunged for him, and Experience found a sudden deftness to his rotund body, and moved out of the way.
What manner of game is this, then?Ridiculous! That was no way to greet a man!
