@Burke I think Cyn needs to tell Burke about the voice! Hope you don't mind having another thread with me! It's been awhile!

Cyn took a deep breath."I'm ready for this." She said to herself. She sent out a howl. She needed to make the conversation quick because she knew about the pups and they would have to be taken care of soon by Burke. She made sure she wasn't too far from the place of the pups and not too close either. The howl wasn't urgent, but she still sent it. A chill went up her spine. Cyn sat down and waited for Burke. Finally deciding to tell him about me. Darling, he can't do anything to me except kill you. The male distorted voice laughed at her.

She still sat in her spot. Cyn felt like she was dying from the wait. She felt herself shake slightly. Being scared wasn't something Cyn did very often. She tried to think of how loyal she had always been and prayed that Burke would be understanding.

I don't mind at all! You can always tag me for threads!! :D Plus I can use this for his therapist specialty.

Burke heard the howl. Being the counselor of the pack he was more than willing to help a wanting pack mate in need. He taught other before, or gave his members advise. The large male stepped forward towards the howl. He knew it was Cyn who requested his presence and Burke was curious what she had to say to him. He hadn't seen her around at all, and with the new system of ranking she would have to challenge other wolves if she wanted to climb in rank.

Yet, even though he hadn't seen Cyn in a long time he was that the female called to him. He might come over as a demon but he was far from. Little did he know that Cyn had been dealing with her own demons. He stepped from the shadows, appearing before Cyn. "You called?," he offered, tone a bit grim, but other than that quite normal.

Cyn turned around to Burke."I need to tell you something. I think it's important." Her voice cracked a little. She felt like crying a little from how she feared the reaction from Burke. She swallowed a little and then opened her mouth again."I don't remember how long it's been since I found out about it, but I think you would like to know." She pawed the ground a little from the knot in her stomach made of her own guilt of keeping this from the alpha. Her tail was tucked between her legs were she stood and her head was hung low.

Burke stiffened a bit when Cyn needed to tell him something. The alpha nodded courtly telling her to go ahead and tell him. He was glad that she trusted him but the first thing that went through his mind that she was pregnant or something like that. He wasn't sure if he could handle another batch of pups that needed feeding and with this cold it would be tough for them to survive. "Okay you can tell me. I'm glad you have come to me," he spoke, he had his usually calm voice ready. He had trained himself to always look calm even in the most dire situations.

Cyn took a deep breat not even knowing what Burke was thinking about at the moment."I have this voice in my head. It's male and distorted. He is partly the reason why I am sometimes sad, for he tells me terrible things when I'm at my worst." She explained the general things the voice did. Darling, he is going to kill you. She didn't look at Burke.

Burke looked down skeptically. Oh no. Another like Grimnir? He looked at her with a serious expression. "That is a most serious condition," he pointed out. His pale eyes stayed on her. "Does this voice tell you to kill or hurt others?," he inquired. Maybe it was just a depression, a voice that would talk her down and be there to make her feel worse about herself. It would take a long time to treat that and Burke wasn't an expert yet with mental illnesses. But if there was one place where he could become an expert then Black Feather Woods was the right place for that.

Cyn nodded. She finally had the determination to look up in his eyes. She could feel tears in her eyes."I'm sorry Burke, but he does." The tears rolled down her face. This was way more dramatic than she thought it would be. Cyn thought the drama would stay at normal, but it had leaped to a soap opera level of drama. Her voice chuckled and teased her for being a crybaby.

Burke frowned lightly, because this was something quite serious to think about. If Cyn really had murderous feelings was it safe to have her in the pack? He hated to kick her out, maybe they could work around it, but the male was more than sure that he would keep his kids away from her. "He does... Hmm. Sounds the same as Grimnir. I can't say I am happy with this, but I can maybe work with it. Can you control that voice? Or does he take over? You will have to learn to ignore him Cyn. If you attack another pack member I can't accept that."

"I would never hurt a pack member!" She quickly defended."I've been ignoring him for awhile and that's probably why I might seem happier." She explained. Cyn shook the tears off of her by shaking her head."Please don't kick me out of the pack." She begged.

Burke nodded shortly, so that was a good thing then. He didn't want any of his members to get hurt, sure they had a quarrel from time to time but that didn't result injuries. Burke watched the young female and believes her word, because he saw more sadness in her eyes than malice. "I didn't say anything about kicking you out. In fact I am very proud of you for coming to me, it means you trust me."

Burke sat down to show his more casual side and make Cyn relax too. "It is very good that you start to ignore this voice, it is of utter most importance. Because we don't want you to be sad, we want you to be happy," he explained. Burke then inhaled softly, thinking of what was the best thing to do about this. Metal illnesses and voices were rather interesting to him and he was a counselor. He had helped before with Lusa. "Cyn, we need to start thinking of a word or memory you can think about when you hear that voice. Such a strong memory that you will forget the voice in your head."

Cyn nodded."I think I might have one." She thought of the memories with Venus. She had her on her mind for a long time. Cyn smiled without thinking about it and couldn't feel the voice wanting to talk. She nodded again to Burke."I think this one is the right one. I can't feel the voice wanting to talk." She opened her eyes and could feel the tears had gone away, instead her eyes sparkled with happiness.

Burke was glad his advise helped for the girl. He was wondering what her memory was about but he wasn't going to pry. He was mainly curious. A smile turned on the counselors lips. "I'm glad it helps," he returned to her. But Burke liked to keep in touch with the female about this.

"Cyn, please stay in touch with me about this. How about you return to me in two weeks? Or any time you want to talk about it? Maybe if we talk about it more you can fight this voice in your head better," he offered. It actually wasn't an offer, more like a request because Burke found it quite interesting himself to fight this voice in her head.

Cyn nodded."Two weeks is okay by me." Her tail was wagging. She was ready to beat the voice. Her mind went to what caused it to develop. Was it because she wasn't a tought newbie or was it about something in the even farther past? Cyn felt herself slip from reality as she thought.

Burke nodded. "Alright. I will see you int two weeks then," he returned to the female. "And earlier if you have trouble, remember that,' he added. With that said Burke deemed this session to be over. He nodded goodbye to Cyn and then walked back in the direction he came from. The large male using the shadows to vanish.

you can archive! Feel free to put in another post! :)

Cyn eventually came back fast enought to say goodbye and watched him dissappear in the dark. She smiled and started on her way too. She went past the trees and soon took off in a run. Her problems had been solved slightly and it felt great to feel the air in her fur knowing that.
