October 1, 2023

— Combined Player HQ and Drafting Table forums. Player HQ is now the hub for both OOC chatter and IC plotting.
— Updated the forum description for Player HQ.
— Help Desk is now its own forum with Contact The Staff and Bug Reports as subforums.
— Updated the forum description for Help Desk.
— Moved redirect forums to the end of their respective forums lists.
— Added a Skin Banner Photography section to Credits.
— Made minor tweaks to the master post for Skin Submissions.

October 4, 2023

— CMs and mods will now move the (m) marker to the beginning of the title of mature threads, as clearly stated in our guidebook (additionally in 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020). In addition, we will add the [mature] tag when it is not present in the initial post of these threads. This is to allow our members to choose if and when they wish to read mature threads.

December 2, 2023

— The NPC Guidelines field is now visible in profiles when filled out.
— NPC Guidelines can be viewed directly from rank tables by clicking or tapping on the note icon:
— The Non-player Characters appendix has been rewritten for clarity and includes the following changes:

• Characters may be NPC for a maximum of 6 months.
  
• Characters may not have persistent wolf companions or large predator guardians as event NPCs.
  
• NPC status can now be requested for puppies under 6 months of age by an IC adult guardian. This change accounts for situations where the biological parents are not involved.
  
• Added the condition that the NPC profile field be filled out when requesting NPC status.

February 8, 2024

— The mate field is now editable by any approved player. You can find the field under relationships when editing your profile.

February 22, 2024

— Updated the requirements for claiming an inactive username. Username requests must now be posted by the account that will be using the name and the account must be active and posting to qualify for an inactive username request.

— Three clarification edits have been made to the Pack Management Guidebook page.*

• Added a clarification that IC leadership and OOC leadership are synonymous.
  
• Added a clarification that each pack may have a maximum of 4 leaders.
  
• Added a clarification that a character may only lead 1 pack at a time.

— A clarification edit has been made to the Non-Player Characters appendix.*

• Added a clarification that NPCs are treated the same as inactive characters for pregnancy, i.e. a character becoming an NPC during their pregnancy means the litter may not be born in-game.

* These guidelines are not new and have not changed, but were overlooked during our previous Guidebook revision and have become unspoken rules that new players may be unaware of, so they have been added back in writing.

November 11, 2024

— Amended guidelines under Do not steal artwork subheading in the Quick Start guide. All AI artwork is now prohibited unless it was previously generated by Adobe Firefly with the Firefly watermark.

November 12, 2024

— Amended guidelines under Characters & Progression in the Guidebook. Canid characters now have an upper age limit of 15. (Prior limit was 10 yoa)
