All Welcome
Seriously. ALL welcome.
In the tireless gait of a native of the Red Plains, Doe had trotted along the shores of the big lake and skirted the scent of packlands that pushed up against the shore. Her ija sister was far behind her, but she did not despair; it was enough to know that there were more out there, living their lives as she was - that is, to the fullest. She hoped that Thestral would find happiness and good company wherever she went, and her thoughts stayed with the coywolf long after they had parted ways.

Now, though, they were on other things. Like, where was she going? Why? There was something telling her that she had to get back... somewhere... but nothing in recent memory sugessted any concrete reasoning for this knowledge. Doe supposed she was simply forgetting something again, and allowed her paws to carry her wherever they might. If she kept walking long enough, she was sure to get to where she needed to go - even if it was through process of elimination.

In the meantime, she was enjoying her journey through the wilderness - she had a seaweed bundle of rare and precious herbs in her maw, and added more and more the further she went. Her life, though largely a mystery, at this point, seemed to be a good one.

Red spots danced in front of his vision, the various scents overwhelming him as he stumbled and crashed, falling clumsily onto the ground. Picking himself up, he began walking once more, his body covered in grime. He did not know where he was, where he was going, other than that he was back in Teekon Wilds and his current task was to find a certain raven furred, green eyed male. He'd spared a thought for Warbone, but he'd left long ago and the boy thought him nothing more than a lost man. The other one, on the other hand, had done nothing to him; it was the other way around, Teag had left him when he promised not to and now he was coming back.

There was a sickening feeling in his gut; something told him he wasn't going to be welcome if he ever found the man. But when had that ever stopped him?

A few times, but that didn't matter.

He smelled her before he saw her and chuffed softly before wincing; his throat was raw from lack of water and food. "Hello,"Teagan said, his accent still predominant, and smiled. He still hadn't lost hs bad boy charm. "What'cha doin' here?"

The arrival of another wolf was a welcome relief to Doe, and that he was interested in conversation brought a toothy grin to the wanderer's face. "Walkin'," she replied after having set down her bundle, eyes tracking the other's slightly drunken gait. He did not seem to be in the healthiest of states, and Doe knew somewhere deep down that she was supposed to help such creatures - at least, she thought she did.

"Are you alright?" she asked, trying to remember if she had anything that might help the other through the ailments that seemed to plague him. Water was probably the most important thing - Doe doubted she could do anything for this wolf that water wouldn't fix in hop-skip and a shake of the tail.

She flashed him a toothy smile and threw him a sarcastic remark which in turn drew a somewhat amused look to the ember's face. "Nah," Teagan chuckled softly, analysing her with semi-hard green eyes. "You ain't doing that no longer." After all, she had stopped walking, which meant she technically wasn't doing that anymore. Ugh. There was definitely something wrong with his mind; he'd really taken more than he should've this time.

His brows creased in mild confusion when she inquired about his wellbeing and with a slightly drunken grin, he cocked an eyebrow and tilted his head. "I dunno what you mean," Teag grinned, "This boy is perfectly fine," he frowned, and added as an afterthought, "I think. Maybe not. Must've drank or ate something I shouldn't have." Teag looked at her and shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. What was his mission again? A guy? Huh?

So he's been poisoned, she thought to herself, looking at the male with even more interest, now. Even if his fiery coat hadn't attracted the wanderer's eye, and mention of ailments always did the trick. Peering closely at the other wolf, Doe decided that he certainly wasn't fine. Interesting.

"You don't remember?" she asked, deciding not to respond to his quip about her having stilled her paws. She was confused about what he meant by that, sure that he would not point out something so obvious for no reason. There must be some joke she was missing, like always. But perhaps he was simply mad with fever - she might never know.

She asked him if remembered, to which he answered with the briefest flicker of a frown before yet another smirk graced his lips as he swaggered forward until there was only a few feet of distance between the two of them. There, he peered at her curiously through somewhat glassy green eyes, swaying lightly on his feet as he analysed her unabashedly, running his gaze up and down her body. "Remember what?" Teagan asked a moment later, lifting his eyes to meet hers. "Ooooh, I remember...." he grinned, "Fermented....something," he waved a paw around impatiently.

Teagan shook his head, closing his eyes for a brief moment, trying vainly to collect himself. It didn't work. He opened his eyes, eyeing her curiously. Now...why am I here again? There was a reason, a purpose, a question. What was it? He frowned, licking his lips as he scanned his surroundings briefly, eyes narrowing in brief suspicion, having momentarily forgotten the stranger was in front of him. Teag snapped back a moment later and blinked, then smiled his signature bad boy smile, tilting his head in an inquisitive manner.

"Have you seen a pretty boy, with a pelt of midnight black and eyes of forest green? I'm...looking for him.." Teagan looked away for a moment, "I think...yeah, yeah — I'm looking for that bastard." The fox squinted at her, the corner of his lip still tugged in his signature smirk. "Have you seen him?"

Doe's ears flickered. The wolf he described did not sound familiar to her, and she grew restless in the openness of his presence. She did not know this wolf, no matter how pretty his pelt, and she did not like how familiar the conversation seemed to be growing.

Taking a few steps back, she gave a bark in farewell: "I will point him to you, if I come across him," she said decisively, giving the man a quick nod before turning and dashing away.

The girl took some steps back and Teagan frowned, opening his maw to call her back as well as ask why the hell was she moving away from him. Wasn't he pretty enough? Or was he too skinny now? He looked down at himself, wondering if that was the case. Because he definitely needed to put some weight before meeting Trick otherwise he'd look like an emaciated waste of a wolf which was not something Teag had ever been called in his life, and he never wanted to be called that, ever.

Before he could say any of that, however, the girl told him she would tell him if she ever came across the raven furred man before nodding in farewell and running away. Teagan cocked an eyebrow, a crooked grin assembling on his lips. Was he that scary now? Is that it?

Then his head began to hurt and he scowled, closing his eyes and leaning against the nearest tree before blundering away, the already conversation forgotten.
