@Nemesis (:
After a quickly made decision to scout out the territories around the Ridge, Jhala made her way through unknown territory(to her anyway). Her pelt was a bit dirty from the previous days success, but she was too careless about her image to wash herself. If anything she'd roll around in the dirt- otherwise who cares? Upon her excursion she came across a flatter bit of land and curiously she made her way through it.
Dark agouti (and dirty) fur ruffled softly as a winter breeze rushed by. Through the breeze she scented someone new, and her ears perked right away. Hostile person? She didn't think so, but she wasn't sure. Her tail stood stiff as she looked for someone to show themselves.

Her journey of moral cleanliness had turned out to be quite fulfilling. She had mauled two rabbits earlier, but that really wasn't that bad, compared to the expectations of the brotherhood. It was all in her mind, the threat of underachievement, the idea sending a chill down her spine. Though, if she wanted a spot in the upper tier, she would be sure to topple all previous expectations. That Damien wouldn't stand in her way even if he was to inherit the pack. He was by far too arrogant to lead, and Burke knew it. As for now, she maintained responsibility while he was running off doing god knows what. It wasn't jealousy but placement for the better, after all, she was wickedously superior to the bloodlusted actions that followed him.
The land was unclaimed, home to a pack that was long disappeared. This was free country, and she could do whatever she pleased. No mentoring, no leading, no yelling, no drama no nothing. She was home free, and she hated it. At Blackfeather there was a malevolent unity. But in the barren lands, nothing. Perhaps their dark reign would expand-- Her though was disrupted by the scent of a passerby. It was nearing her, though but only a whiff, she was far superior to whoever came. If one didn't realise the mark on her shoulder, well, they were just stupid. And if they didn't, they would know to stay the hell away or bow at her feet, whichever came first. She didn't play games, she just won. It was as simple as that.

Soon the scent of whoever was roaming around the flatlands was revealed; a black fae around the same size as Jhala. To the agouti black girl, there was nothing special about this woman. She smelled of a pack, but she was unaware of what pack she was from. Quite honestly, if you informed her that she was from the 'Brotherhood', she'd probably just scoff and say 'but dude she's a girl'. So, regardless of who this wolfess was, the yearling honestly had no respect for her as of right now.
The red paw on her shoulder? Looked to her like an uncreative tattoo artist got a hold of her. Nothing of interest and nothing worth fearing.
She was not as stupid as some to go to approach the woman with hopes of friendship, but also knew not the immediately start fights with everyone she met. She was an even balance with a shorter temper, sort of. So Jhala just stood, head lowered and fur fluffed out in warning to stay the fuck away or just be friendly. She really didn't have time to nurse wounds, and for all she knew this black wolf could be from the fucking militia... or something. The younger Porcupine wolf was strong and skilled but not that skilled.
Aha, that made me laugh xD shhh she's secretly a guy..
The sight of the other made her want to laugh, clearly someone was troubled. Her instead, kept her head raised, as if sizing the other up. Her lips lifted slightly to reveal the ivory weapons underneath in a hostile snarl that warned danger. Truly, if this girl had the nerve to challenge her, Blackfeather would be expecting another captive. The dire extent of the situation did not seem to be made aware to the stranger, but she would make sure that it was. She shot her a look that spoke for itself, You got a problem? If she had been human, a massive bitch face would have decorated her gaze, directed intently at the girl ahead.
Stalking maliciously right up to the girl, she would not cower away from temptation. The one thing she hated was other's getting out of place, and as far as the universal law of wolves went, this one was sorely lost. "Is there something you need?" She sneered, though it was a cold, devious question that purely taunted the girl to make a move. Her desolate eyes met the others, piercingly intense, intimidating even. Though she didn't expect her to understand the ulterior message, some just weren't as smart as others.

she's a piece of work lemme tell you. M for slight language, hope it doesn't bother you! <3
OOOOH. This bitch had the nerve to stalk up to her. As she approached Jhala's stature rose and she stared her up and down as she did. By now she did notice the blood-red paw print on her shoulder, and gave it a hard stare of disapproval. Who did such strange things to their body? Freaks, clearly.
"I'd like," came the reply of the daring young girl. "for you to back the fuck up." Jhala really didn't want a fight, but this dark woman was clearly thinking far too highly of herself. "I'm trying to get through, I mean you no harm," she added, her voice a bit less aggressive. Truthfully she wanted no wounds to deal with, but if this wolf kept up her weird dominance against a stranger act, she may have to fight her just to get her away; regardless of the outcome, she did not run without putting up a fight.

Ahhh sorry for the lateness!!
Her gaze followed the other's to her mark, the one imprinted on her shoulder. Now, it was one to insult her, but it was a whole other thing to insult the Brotherhood. Her eyes burned into the other's with a hate. But she would not simply pick a fight with a stranger, she had standards after all. No, a nice spar would do just fine. "No, I don't think I will," It was not said in a snarky way, but determined. She held her ground and was she in no way stupid. Reckless actions never had a good outcome.
But her loyalty to the Brotherhood did arise, and she could not idly take such a look to the mark without reason or punishment. "You can go around," She would give the girl a chance to back out. A challenge was in her tone, one that she was sure would be met with a readiness.

This was so petty. Both girls knew that it was petty and extremely irrational. And yet, when the implied challenge was proposed, Jhala didn't back down. Adrenaline had already fired through her, and she stood tall as she shot daggers through the other girl from her amber eyes. "Then make me," she responded, a small smirk and a flick of the ears now implying that she was now here for the fun of it. This was a stupid argument and was nothing of pride, if blood spilled over this both girls would be deemed morons.
The dark girl braced herself for any attack, ready to take it head on or dodge it quickly. Maybe this would be fun.
no problem! roll for winner? highest of 10? (:

This was just stupid. Yet, she never denied a challenge, her pride was just too great. Her hackles raised, ears flattened against her skull as her body tensed. She would put this one in her place alright, and by no means would she be gentle about it. Everything vanished from her mind as she lunged at the female, attempting to put her in a grip at her throat. It was not an aim to kill, but to show who was dominant. She would not be disrespected in such away. Not to her or the Brotherhood. Blood split would be a waste, save her energy for greater feats that this one. Maybe if she met her again, there would be a revenge spar. She liked the determined fire that was evident in the stranger, unlike many she had encountered outside of Blackfeather.

eep! Looks like Jhala lost, can't wait to write these out <3
The woman lunged just as Jhala had suspected, and she knew exactly where she was aiming too. Fuuuuck. Was she really here to kill? Over this? The black and white girl was shocked, to say the least, but now would play strictly defensive. She wouldn't risk any offensive tactics that would get her killed- she was not moron. Right away she ducked her head, leaving the female to bite her scruff rather than throat. At this, the girl took her own bites. She aimed for the chest rather than the throat, finding no reason to want to kill, and hoped to find her mouth filled with flesh and fur.

i've never done an official "spar" before so idek what i'm doing lol <3
Her attack was met by a mouth full of fur. Obviously, the female had expected her move, though she did get a good idea of where the weak spot may lay. The strangers clawed at her chest, meeting the flesh briefly before she moved away. Little blood was drawn, not harmful enough to stop her assault. She took the after attack pause to survey the girl, noting the tactics in which she was using. Blind spots would not work, the female was by far too defensive for her to sneak past. Yet vital points arose, noting the neck, the hind quarters, the snout and so forth.
They circled, though her senses were on edge. She charged at the female once more, looking to latch her teeth onto her scruff again. Pulling her down would work, force her into submission, yes. While it may have looked one way, she had no intent on killing anyone as of now, a spar was a spar and not a full fledged fight. She had standards, and didn't simply wish to start shit with people she didn't know. They both knew this wasn't that serious, at least, that's what she believed.

it's not too bad! there are lots of ways to do it but i've always just rolled for an outcome and then i just got with the flow.
The woman escaped from her jaws and Jhala let out a growl of frustration. Sneaky bitch she was. The woman backed, taking a bit of fur and blood with her as she went; the white and black girl did the same. The two circled a bit before the darker of the two struck again, this time aiming for her scruff. Jhala was confused, maybe she really wasn't bat shit crazy and trying to murder her as she'd originally thought? Or maybe she had a plan? This was stupid, there was no communication or reason for this dumb fight... spar? she couldn't tell anymore.
Teeth landed, and Jhala once again tried to bite at her chest again. This time she felt she was held a bit tighter, and knew that struggling away would result in a large chunk of fur and flesh being ripped from her body- so she did no such thing.

She gripped the stranger hard, although it was not enough to kill. Their encounter was no longer hostile, but a fight for dominance, which she was apparently winning. The result of the female struggling away would be bloody, which she did not. Smart, at least. Yet, the stranger had managed to nick her chest slightly, pulling away some of the hairs. But she did not waver, only growling roughly against the mouth full of skin and hair, as if to say enough.
The stranger was a fighter, as was she. The next move would end or continue the fight, but both knew it was pointless. She lightened the grip, yet waited for the stranger to go slack until she fully released. It only took one move to snap back and lunge.
fade her since this is pretty old? sorry i've been so slow :(
