Up, up, up he went. It hadn't gotten any warmer, and the clouds that had once been above had now settled on the ground below. A large foot slipped, but thankfully the other three had solid purchase, so Dune kept himself from tumbling to his death. Instead, he marched south, skirting the eastern side of the peak as he did so. It looked as though many creatures had taken this path, and he was thankful that he was not (by any means) the first.
Dune continued this way, the soft crunch of his feet on the snow, eyes softly focused on the land ahead. Instinct drove him forward, drove him south, and he would not stop until he had found whatever it was nature had him seeking out.
