The early morning sun was shining brightly as Beric emerged from his den. His jaws opened wide in a yawn as he stretched out his body. He shook the dirt out of his fur before letting his eyes gaze around the area, trying to decide just where he wanted to go first. He needed to check and make sure the captive area was up to par and that the captive was minding his own, and do his rounds of the borders.
Deciding he would check on the captive first, he made his way toward the clearing where he was supposed to be staying, stopping when he came to the outskirts of it. His eyes scanned the area, looking for the captive male. Spotting him, Beric walked over, his language slightly dominant but not aggressive. Hey, I'm Beric. Settling in? he asked. Beric had taken it upon himself to check up on the male, since he was going for Warden. For him, that meant checking on the wolves outside and inside the pack lands.

"Hey, I'm Beric. Settling in?" The agouti male lowered his head. "Yes, this place is beautiful." he said. It was true, even if it was only a small part of the territory, the dark agouti found it amazing. He had never once stayed at a place for more than a day or two, after he had left his parents of course.
Dark head lowered, golden eyes scanned the ground. He had nothing better to do after all. He was the only captive here. Kyrillos wondered whether or not Ragnar had taken anyone else into the pack recently, any captives or maybe slaves? He wasn't stupid.

The other male replied he was settling in, and that their territory was beautiful. Beric nodded in agreement, then gave him a knowing look, Is that why you risked your life to come here? He had a hint of a smile on his face, letting him know he was joking around. Really, though, Beric did want to know how the male ended up here. What happened, anyways? He figured the male had trespassed, but couldn't be entirely sure. It was possible he offended Ragnar in some other way.
What's your name? he asked, trying to make conversation. In realty, Beric was much better at chasing off intruders than he was making friends. He was just an awkward sort of wolf when it came to socializing, and who said the wrong thing nine times out of ten. His intent was always well-put, even if it didn't come out that way.
