She had separated with her brother not long ago, with news of family to the west. Cousins apparently. But her mother and other siblings were still missing. Typical.
She hadn’t decided on her plans yet, whether she would seek out her blood relations or continue her own path. After the small conversations she held with her brother, Padma honestly wasn’t sure she could fit in with them anymore. Whether she could fit into the happy little family that she was picturing.
Instead Padma wandered. Needing time to think and decide on her own… what was best for her.
