FitzDutiful had been watching the skies. Lately he had found a fascination with the pattern of the stars and the stories they seemed to tell him. It appeared, to him, that there was an arrow in the sky pointing a direction and, after much deliberation and with pack approval, FitzDutfiful had decided to follow.
All day he had walked in the direction of the arrow, confirming that night that it was still present, and had walked for another day until he entered a valley. That night the arrow seemed to have dissipated in the sky, the stars no longer aligned and he made camp for the night unsure of what to do now.
The next day, he wandered around the valley looking for whatever the sign had called him toward.

Im going to imagine this is in the morning?
Silvermane had been strolling outside his packs territory, well, more like limping around his turf, and had occasionally stretched out to look for little herbs, that might dullen the pain. Silvermane had not been really keen of the stars, even though the others promoted it for the trade of naturalist, but he preffered the category of the herbs, which had caused several wolves to tell him to become a healer, which he had almost no wish to become, he enjoyed learning of the earth, the tracking of animals, the learning of seasons, the anticipation or rockslides, anything that had to do with the ground, or mountains, had become his way of lifeHe had been roaming, only to spot a wolf from a distance, wandering, Silvermane did not want to get too close, in case he was aggressive, but luckily this one was not as strangely coloured, and Silvermane could easily relate to his colour. Greetings, he huffed you lost? dropping the formal tone,

Sure! Any time of day works for me
The air was crisp and a chill was almost present on the morning that this encounter took place. His search had only just hit his stride when another wolf came into being. He wasn't entirely convinced that another wolf was what the stars had called him towards. But then, how was he to know that? Taking a moment to decide whether to abandon his search meant the question had a pause before the answer came into being.
"I don't think so." FitzDutiful replied to the mainly silver wolf in front of him. "I'm training to be a naturalist and I felt... almost a calling to come here. Only once I was here it disappeared and I'm not quite sure what I was here for." Maybe the male could help him? Maybe he knew something about these lands that Fitz needed to learn? All these possibilities ran through his head as he waited for a response from the pack wolf.
To be fair, the chance that the pack wolf knew something more than FitzDutiful wasn't really in doubt. It wasn't often to wandered into a new area of a valley and found another newcomer to the area. Most of the time it was the valley's residents that were nearby. After all, someone had to stay home to ensure the pack lands were guarded and not claimed by another.

Silvermane was abit confused, What was the calling? he said Perhaps I could help he continued, he did not know if he could help, but atleast he would try. Silvermane had to bump up his kindness to others, and this wolf was probably good practice.
Im a to-be Naturalist myself, he said, he was happy to meet someone else which shared the same trade, or atleast would-be trade. Maybe if this wolf was not lost, they could share knowledge? It was always a delight to know more, and the more you know, the longer you will live, and the longer you will live, the more power you will have, and the more power you will have, means you will be closer to god.
His body relaxed abit, this wolf wasnt gonna hurt him... Right? So if it was like this, just talking, there was nothing to worry about.

The other pack wolf requested more details on the calling to help FitzDutiful figure out what he had been brought her from and then perhaps provided the answer in his words. Another naturalist in training. With a nod to show he'd heard, FitzDutiful jumped into the explanation of his calling.
"As I pondered what where was best to start learning about nature, I looked in the sky and saw an arrow of stars. I waited two nights, but the stars never dissipated. After talking to my alphas I decided to follow them. For two more nights I followed the arrow and the direction it pointed until I arrived here. Then the arrow was gone. "
A chuckle escaped Fitz's lips as he carried on. "Maybe it was all in my head, or maybe I was meant to meet you, if you're in training too."
