Dark stumbled through some bushes getting poked by some twigs and such, he hated getting poked and annoyed more than ever but being a wolf as Dark was he still didn't know that his pelt gave him an easy time with all those spiky things that were poking at him.
After Dark got through the bushes and such he found himself staring at a beautiful sun set just down a large peaceful valley. Dark started to slowly walk down the small hill towards the sun set to get a better look, when all of a sodden he spotted a large flat surfaced rock sticking out of the side of an outcrop. Dark slowly started to walk towards it when he picked up a scent coming from inside the small den. Dark walked towards it sniffing the air.
It seemed that the closer he got to the den the more he could smell the scent. The scent of another wolf. Dark really needed this den badly, he had not been inside a proper den for unimaginable ages and was determined to find one. Dark gridded his teeth lightly and began creeping his way up to the entrance he saw no wolf but the scent was fresh. There was a wolf here not long ago… Dark thought to himself.
So he stumbled into the small cave and looked around. The cave went deeper and deeper until it narrowed out at the end making a perfect place to store food and other types of meals that a wolf mite find. Just as Dark began to make himself at home he stopped and wondered about why the wolf that was here before left. And if this wolf were to come back there would be a huge fight.
Dark consider these things closely. Would it really be worth having this spot for himself? But if the other wolf did put up a fight then I guess the spot would be worth it in both of there sake. So he settled down closing one eye and curling up in his nice grey pelt.
