The brute had been traversing the terrain he had found himself in the last few days, and they had been the most invigorating few days of his life. He had never had such fun in his whole life. After visiting the sea he had returned the familiarty of the woods, and the snow. Which was why he currently found himself in this clearing. Which very much reminded him of his own home territory. How boring. Shida lazily strolled the area, disinterested in his surroundings. To arrogant to think anything could rival his strength.
Sagging to the ground, unsure of what he could do to ease his stumbling mind. The ebony male relaxed into the snow, his coat in stark contrast to the frozen ground.

Why she had wandered from the territory when so much still had to be done, Evelyn did not know. It gave a bit of theoretical satisfaction, as though she was once again taking over her life and her emotions, however untrue that might be. Her paws marched steadily through the snow, kicking back the cold, white, powder. She reached a clearing which housed an obsidian...corpse(?) lying in the middle of it, but as she approached, she realized that the body was still very much alive. Evelyn gave a chuff of acknowledgement, though she held an equal amount of greeting and threat behind it. She wasn't looking for a fight — if anything, that's the opposite of what she wanted [/mdash] but if one arose, she wouldn't back down.
Hello, she called, and hoped he would respond.
