Winter's air has fallen. Snowflakes of white crystals made its way down from the gray sky, touching everything and sticking to the terrain floor. A lone fae was gazing up at the magnificent scenery before her as she stood still, her grayish-black bushy tail flicking sideways behind her. It's starting to snow more..the cold times are coming. The fae's soft hazle hues scanned around in her surrounding area as she continues on, padding along on the wet and cold ground.
I will have to look for a rest area away from the snow, in case it gets heavy. Hanako makes her way gracefully through the forest. The snowflakes tickled the snout of her muzzle. She shook her crania down along to her lean form, getting the snow off her pelt. Although she could blend in somewhat with the snow with some of her mixture of the white pelt. Passing by the trees and thickets, she picked up scents of ducks. She looked around in her surroundings and stopped for a moment. They must've gone south to the warmer areas already...no ducks that I'm seeing so far. A soft sigh escapes from the fae's maw, and continues on with her walking through the forest as the snow continues to fall; staining the earth's floor.
Hanako had a clear viewing of a open, blue lake before her. Trees were starting to get covered of blankets of white. The snow continues to fall as the air got colder. It was a little further down from the wet slope where she stood. Her black twin peaks pinned back against her crania. It was quiet and there wasn't another living thing in sight, at least for now...

this looked lonely!
Gannet had taken to wandering some. Not terribly far, as winter still had a good grip on the land, but enough to learn this part of the wilds with a fairly solid map. This was the lake where he'd met Lily, he remembered, as he approached its bank.
He still had a healthy fear of the ice and water, but sometimes one couldn't be picky. So he stepped to the edge and carefully broke through the thin ice that bordered it, then lowered his head to drink.
He'd passed to the edge completely oblivious to the fact that he was likely being watched; he didn't see the slight figure at the edge of the trees, a ways away. He was only intent on quenching his thirst, though after a moment of that, he lifted his head and stepped back. He didn't plan on delving for plants today. He didn't feel like taking a wade in the icy water right now.
Gannet's face and body are open books; you are more than welcome to distinctly notice any emotion written in his posts.
