@Aella
The sounds of the ducks flying by the lake did not catch the brute off guard. His bushy pelt blew in the wind that surrounded the landscape, his gold eyes showing contentment when he had sat down beside the small body of water. The water lapped at his front forepaws, making them feel cool and relaxed as he stretched and smiled, watching the many animals that were around the land. His tail wrapped around his bodice as that black that went down the bridge of his nose burned slightly once the sun hit it. But, he did not care about it, he was content.
He had been alone for some time. His family was slowing him down slightly, but he still cared about them. He lied down and sighed, wishing he could see someone and perhaps start a conversation. He closed his eyes and began to listen to the sounds that were around him once more. Each time he had been alone, he was only talking to his thoughts. As he listened to the sounds, he could hear a growl, turning his head as he stood on guard.
