Redsand Canyon Nothin' in this world can stop the spread of her wings

Sabah came to the den of @Kukulkaan on this eve.

With a faint chuff, she announced her presence to him. A chunk of deer meat was then set within the entryway. 

Meal, for ajaw. Must eat. For he required much strength. They had traveled many times. It was time now to rest and revive.

What ajaw think? Many, we meet. Many they had met, but they had not truly sat down to discuss thoughts on each. Sabah wished that they may do so now.

the godless wolves of these lands are unsure of tikal, this, ajaw feels in the marrow of their bones: but they would not be persuaded to abandon this canyon. not when the earthsong sings to them so strongly here.

Ajaw comes forth, placing his forehead against her own. She allows this always.

When he invited her to share the meal, she was hesitant, but decided not to argue against it. Sabah joined as he settled, waiting then to hear his word of their visits.

Many fear new. This was the same with most things. Whatever was considered was often feared until proven it need not be.

Some good. Others, Sabah unsure. Yet, they could not judge so soon. Give time. We know then.

ajaw is quiet as she speaks; listening to her words, considering them.

yes, this one agrees. out of the two they had visited together and the one that ajaw had taken caro too only paleo appeared to hold the most promise.

Sabah speak to sisters. We patrol more — we teach more... As was their duty to Tikal, and to ajaw. To keep the peace, and keep all safe.

this one wonders if you would like to carry the title of nacom. it was a question, and she is able to refuse if she does not wish the responsibility.

ajaw would not be angry, but sabah has fit the bill for quite some time and they only wish to acknowledge her dedication to her sisters and to them with the title...if she would have it.

Speechlessnes. But it only last for a few moments. She recovered herself quickly.

If ajaw choose Sabah, Sabah accept.

It was truly a high honor, but not one she entirely thought she had earned. 

Even now, Sabah considered herself a foreigner to his people. The other holcan were closer to his origin—and yet, here she was.

then it is done, ajaw decides with a flick of their tail.
