After her training session with Chev, the pale female set off hoping to come across another one of Lusa's children. The woman knew that each wolf fought differently and Hayde wanted to better understand how her sister's pups felt about the topic of battle. She knew some wolves preferred to make their attack stealthy, while others enjoyed using brute strength to conquer their opponents. Then there were those who refused to fight and believed in peace all through their life, and while Hayde was very much a calm wolf herself, when it came to defending her home and family she would fight till the end.
After a bit of searching, the woman eventually came upon the scent of @Peridot, and began to track the young girl down. It took some time but Hayde soon found the spec of white fur clashing amongst the dark forest, and once near chuffed to make her presence known to the girl.

The dark forest did remind Peridot of home. The amount of light that passed through the leaves was nearly the same but there was still a difference, It wasn't home. But that didn't stop her from feeling a little bit at ease here. This was the type of land she spent most of her life in.
Today, the little hunter decided to practice hunting and was starting to prefer doing it alone. Her brothers weren't as helpful as she had hoped so this time she'll do it all alone. She searched for a trail of some small prey that she knew. Rabbit, frog, maybe a rat, finding them isn't easy and for some others catching was difficult. Challenges don't discourage at first, Until she realises how difficult they are.
She wasn't finding anything and it was starting to get a little frustrating. What was the trick to it? She tried being quiet as she searches but it's like she was looking in the wrong places. Are there any familier prey around here?
Peridot didn't lose her determination and kept looking until a sudden cough drawed her attention. She didn't notice that there was an adult nearby. She had no idea how to actually react instead she just looked and stared while frozen in place. She wasn't afraid, she just couldn't decide weither to run or stay. Ever since that male showed up mother acted in ways Peridot didn't understand. She didn't trust strangers as quick as she used to.
