The long-legged white she-wolf sat a respectful distance from the borders, her sleek muscled figure stood among the grass. Whisper breathed in there scent, the scent that she had traveled far to be met by. She let out a howl, her voice was chilling but hauntingly beautiful. Her blazing amber eyes were like beacons among the mist, giving her a ghostly look. She took a step forwards, but only one, she wanted to be respectful to these wolves.
As she waited for the alpha to come, she stood and fixed her posture, straightening her neck and legs. She looked elegant and sweet, but she was a dark she-wolf with blood-lust for those who were disrespectful. Despite her size, she was a powerful killer with skill in combat. She swiped her tongue over her fangs once before the wolves arrived. She didn't want to fight them, but had to be prepared just in case.
Her thoughts ran like rabbits chasing each other. Would this be her pack? Would she finally have an alpha that she could prove herself to? Would the others respect her? She had many questions, but she silenced them and waited for a wolf to greet her at the borders. This was her time to seal her fate.

Burke lifted his head once he was called. The alpha male was not easy to convince and if one convinced him they had a very heavy two week trail period that would test them. Just like their recent recruit. He hadn't seen him around, so Burke was most definitely going to kick him out very soon. The alpha didn't like that he was tricked or felt tricked at least. Now there seemed to be a new recruit at their borders and Burke was very skeptical if this would be anything.
The male moved through the shadows, using it as a way to get closer to the borders. The male watched her from the shadows first, which he would always do. The seemed small and slender. Burke would always be skeptical maybe she would surprise him, but most were boring and had the same visions and ideas. The immensely sized alpha stepped forward from the shadows to meet her. His pale eyes instantly looking at her without any mercy. His face mostly stoic.
The brute of a male had his docked tail raised, showing that he was in charge here, his dominance pouring off him. She better not do anything stupid or foolish. "You called," he pointed out, giving her permission to speak and tell what she wanted to say.

Whisper watched as the male approached and lowered her tail and head in respect. "I am Whisper. it is an honor to meet you. I have come to request to join your pack, I wanted to know what I need to do to prove myself worthy." Whisper spoke with her deep, rolling voice. She did not look him straight in the eye, for she did not want to challenge him. His aura was that of a true alpha male, and she wanted to smile but restrained herself. He would be an excellent teacher for her.
Her muscles rippled underneath her silken white coat. Whisper's long black legs stood with firmness, she didn't want to seem weak, which she was guessing he had judged she was. If she needed, she would kill another to prove herself to him.Her long body stood firmly still as well, she wanted to show her strength respectfully. Her amber eyes blazed with a strong determination. Her entire aura was that of a female warrior.
He looked like that of immense strength, she wondered what his origin pack was. She liked the way he spoke to, very nonchalant. She was praying to the stars that this would be her new pack. She wanted to be in a pack who trained in combat, for she wanted to fight. It was something she enjoyed, as long as it was a fair fight. She had not a reason to fight a yearling for example, they would be torn apart.

Luckily for her she gotten straight to the point. Burke lifted his head a bit. Though her question, although fair, didn't feel in god graces with Burke. He liked intuitive wolves, one that would go their own path. She requested to join his pack but by adding that other question he was questioning if she couldn't think of this herself. "If I have to tell you that then don't even bother applying," he commented. Burke was not the fairest wolf if the wolf before him was a stranger. If one had proven themselves Burke would be the nicest guy around and help them out but if they were a stranger to him then why help them if they were not going to be an asset to him. He had loyal members already.
Technically there was no method to be 'worthy'. Burke looked for uniqueness in a wolf and how they presented themselves. All were different and with a special eye catcher Burke had to see. If he didn't see that then it was too bad for the other wolf. The female before him might have an abstract pattern in her coat with the white and black but other than that he couldn't really see beyond that. He couldn't look into someone's mind after all.

His sharp tongue cut whisper a bit. Don't bother applying? Really? Hmph. She would be able to get into this pack, she had just thought there was something she needed to do to initiate, like her last pack's battle ceremonies. "I would like to be a warrior of this pack, I just thought you may have an initiating ceremony in my last pack. Before a pup could become part of the tribe, they would have to battle another. Whoever won got the privilege of becoming a full pack member." She stated firmly "I see that this is not the case though...". Maybe this place wasn't for her...
Whisper wouldn't give up yet. She didn't know what to say next though. There was no way in hell she would repeat herself like a nervous wreck. She was unsure of herself. Part of her wanted to make a stinging remark, but the other wanted to be part of the pack...What to do? Her fiery eyes gazed upon him, thinking of what she should say now. She raised her willowy body a bit and tried to figure out what he was thinking. Strange...

Burke stood before her. Not really caring what she was saying because he just wanted her to tell her why he should take her in and not what she was thinking. "We aren't a tribe," he stated to her on a calm monotone voice. He wanted to correct that before he would continue with talking. The large male lifted his head. "What if we already have enough warriors,"he stated in return to her. Because frankly they have enough already and that was not something that made her special. Sure, who was he to judge that she was special but Burke wanted at least one trade and that was apparently hard to get.
The alpha male waited for her response, curious what she would say. Sometimes he would just reply in a certain way just to test a wolf, but now he was really questioning what she could do instead of being a warrior. He also had another question for her. "Why do you think you would even fit here in this pack?," he also questioned.

Her eyes sharpened a little, this wasn't the alpha she was expecting. "If you have enough warriors, I am also skilled in hunting. I was the lead huntress in my last...pack.I'm quick on my feet and have great stamina and speed. Hmm...I'm also nimble and could be a good spy if needed around," she said, answering his question as she had been asked. It felt a bit weird talking about herself to a random stranger, but she did as he wished. She was pretty pissed off by now though, and was not happy that she had to continue the conversation. "You are, as far as I have seen, a pack of the shadows but also one greatly skilled in combat and you take pride in your work. That is what I look for in a pack. But if there is any reason that you think I won't fit in, I'll prove that I will, or die trying," she hissed out, her voice was a bit irritated. Frankly, she didn't like the prideful male nearly as much as she had liked him before, but she wasn't going to turn her back on this alpha. No, he would be to strong to take on if he came after her.

She recovered, and actually ended with a great answer. Burke sometimes had to push wolves with mean questions before they would really open up and tell him what they wanted out of a pack and show a bit of their personality. This woman was clearly intent to be in his pack and she was not going to back down. That feistiness he hadn't seen in a long time in some recruits. His pale eyes looked over her with a bit of a new light. Still Burke was never truly convinced if a wolf would do well after accepted. Thatcher had been a good talker too and Sebastian had not seen any of him. He would be soon out of the door. Burke was certain of that.
"Fair enough," he spoke slowly, his pale eyes going over her. "You will get a two week trail like everyone else. Work hard and show that you want to be in this pack otherwise you will be kicked out, simple," he stated to her. He was a bit tired of listening to all these wolves and then they didn't live up to his expectation after all. So now he was just going to accept her for this trail period. "You will introduce yourself my Beta Nemesis and will help out in the pack, be active and the more I notice the more you will have a chance to stay and learn about our culture." Burke looked at her with a strict expression to see if she understood.

So he had accepted her, that was good. She gave him a brisk nod. "If I may ask, what is your name?" She said, she'd been wondering about it. Although she was ticked, she knew that everything would be alright. She would hunt herself to exhaustion and help out around the territory by patrolling and marking borders. She waited for him to walk into the territory before following him to meet his beta, what would come after, she didn't know. But she would do exactly as she had said. Prove myself or die trying...

Burke nodded shortly. "It is Burke and this is the Dark Brotherhood you gained entry too. Our forest is named Black Feather Woods. Most wolves out there think we are still named like that, so refer to us like that. Not the brotherhood name," he stated. The large male looked over the female and then stepped aside. "You can freely explore the territory, though watch out for the swamps and don't go into Redgrove, a clearing with red bushes, only if you have a death wish. There is also weeping meadow with a tree that will kill you if you stay there for too long," he spoke, running down the list of places not to go. Black Feather Woods was not the safest place to live.

She took note of where not to go, this seemed like a good place for murder. "Thankyou alpha." She dipped her head to him and trotted towards the forest, grinning. This was her home now.
